This policy explains how SignalDesk handles your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. SignalDesk is the data controller.

What we collect

• Account details: email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Your settings: favourite pairs, timeframes, risk preferences and alert choices.
• Content you add: saved ideas, journal entries, demo broker orders and AI coach messages.
• Push notification subscription details if you turn on alerts.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Why we use it

• To provide your account and the features you use (contract).
• To take subscription payments (contract) and keep tax records (legal obligation).
• To keep the service secure and fix problems (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help run SignalDesk: our hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, and an AI provider that processes coach messages. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Billing records are kept for 6 years as required by UK tax law.

Cookies

We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how it's used. Email support@signaldeskforex.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
